Subtitling, or Audio-visual Translation, of growing importance worldwide:

Subtitling is growing ever more important worldwide, not only because the market for subtitling for DVD is constantly growing, but more and more people are in need of audio-visual translations because they're hearing-impaired or illiterate. Also subtitling for the internet is becoming more and more important.

With the Compact Course you can learn it in any language combination, although we advise the combination EN-Any Language because most audio-visual productions are produces in the English-speaking world.

and the fastest way to learn the art of subtitling.

With its hands-on approach, 'compact concept' and live support, it is designed to do by yourself, whenever and wherever you want.

All language combinations are possible - also for subtitling for the hearing-impaired and Same Language Subtitling (SLS) which is used to fight illiteracy in India. Attention is also paid to how to make voice-over translations.

The Compact Course enables you to go through the many contradictory subtitling rules before actually applying them. This will keep you from picking up incorrect subtitling habits.
